That's an exaggeration. I'd say both are extremely important, maybe 60% talent, 40% coaching. Texas A&M has had one of the most talented rosters based on recruiting in recent years and struggles to break .500 due to coaching. Just one example.

Depends on the size of the talent gap. If it's huge, probably more like 95%. If it's medium, probably more like 65%. If it's small, 50/50 or better in favor of the better coached team.

Not really. If we are talking a huge talent gap...yes. Saban had a good staff for a
majority of his Bama tenure...and when he did that was when he won the most.
