Was the special 30 day portal around when Orgeron tanked your program?

Did LSU go through a 30 day special portal session where maybe 3 or 4 programs had to sit back and watch the rest of CFB at an auction for their players?
Did Ed Orgeron damage the frick out of LSU’s program?

No.
The portal itself was longer back then though and LSU also had to struggle to keep its recruiting class together as none had signed yet.
