I get it brother. We’ve been around a long time. I’m just trying to keep the peace. I think everyone is just emotional and concerned. I get it. We’ve had dominance for 17 years.

So we do agree. You say behavior. Got it. Behavior equals judgement on someone’s character and your reasoning to attack it.

What are you seeing that makes you say that? Other than he shows emotion?

I’ve seen us talk worse about our coaches in an in game thread during the middle of a game. My god man. Almost eat dudes alive because of play calling or lack thereof. I don’t give a frick what names I’m called but I said what I said. I won’t start another thread about it and we can move on.

No need, here ya go… mine in summary….”Saban has made bad hires OC/DC the last couple of years, there were signs of chinks in the armor, pound for pound this is the best hire in the field of available candidates the AD could hire, in 49 fricking hours no less”, so… either join in and support UA’s hire or GTFO. It’s that easy.

Because winning at Washington is like winning at Sioux Falls. And winning at BAMA is only for guys like Sark, that just 10 years ago was shitting the bed at Washington. Dude went 7-6 with Jake Locker at qb.

Listen to the PC again. Listen to certain coaches we’ve had in the past and compare the tone and attitude of the man leading at the time to what you heard then. Hell I listened to the Q & A with the media after and they cut the damn mic of to the man because he said he was on a tight schedule. Can you fricking imagine what Saban would do if they cut his mic mid sentence.

So if we do well in 24 you will come and repent right?

Saban had been a head coach for almost THIRTY YEARS when he came to BAMA. He'd been an NFL head coach.
DeBoer has been a head coach in D1 for 3.

So before he ever does anything you don’t like him? Thats short sided man. I’m all for reasonable but this isn’t.

Ok. Well, Freeze is a piece of shite. If that's what you prefer in a HC, perhaps the barn board is for you?

I just find it ironic that so far, the strong opinions you have had about DeBoer are purely…emotional takes on someone else’s inability to be a good coach because he is (in your opinion) too emotional, yet that actually isn’t true because thus far, DeBoer HAS been what anyone would consider a successful football coach, so clearly if he is “too emotional” his players seem to channel that positively. There isn’t any real logic to why this allegedly makes him “in over his head” it’s just… emotional projecting.
Another funny thing is, Saban was always an emotional coach. He showed anger on the sideline, would get short with the media, and he’s also shed tears and been visibly emotional after wins. But because he is the GOAT, his showcasing of emotion is written off in your mind as a positive attribute and the *only* way to showcase emotion.
We don’t know what DeBoer is going to be, but to write him off for showing valid emotions in a moment with a team he was invested in and nearly won a title game with only to have to break the news to that he’s leaving…I would be more concerned if he WASN’T emotional to them. Dude valued and loves those guys, I’m glad he was honest with them.

He told you Boz. He doesn't like his voice inflection. Simple as that.
