I coached kids football. Did it for about 9 years; it’s a thankless job. Full of parents that whine, kids that can’t handle discipline because they don’t get that at home. Generally by the year I’m pretty burned out. I’m not an overly emotional person, my wife would say I don’t show emotion at all. Every year when we huddle for the last time as a team, and I have to speak, I get choked up. You pour into these kids. You love them even when it’s hard. Getting emotional because you may never see someone you again after you’ve given yourself to them and vice versa isn’t an odd thing at all.

Because I don’t agree with y’all. This dude ain’t gonna make it down here. We will be 8-9 win seasons so not awful but he won’t be able to run this gauntlet. He’s in over his head.
