It happened within 48 hours. I highly doubt all the coaches saying "NO" were actually asked. It takes time to work out the details so Bama got their first choice

So many posters arguing whether DeBoer was 1st, 2nd, 3rd choice. Whatever! Makes no difference. Alabama got a good coach and that's what their goal was.
