DeBoer or Norvell

Both solid hires. I personally lean to Norvell.
We saw this year again that defense wins championships and FSU had a great defense. He has ties in recruiting-rich Florida and presumably the SEC.
I’m concerned that he uses the portal so heavily but maybe that’s the old school in me.
Also concerned that so many of his players opted out the bowl. May be less of an issue in the new expanded CFP but I do think says something about the culture

DeBoer, and replace Rees with Grubb. Easy decision

As long as he got the staff in place that knows the region I would go with DeBoer. I would be happy with either though, or as happy as anyone can be when it comes to replacing the GOAT.

As much as I’m again a west coast or northern guy I’d say DeBoer. I don’t know why but Norvell is a no for me.

Certainly a solid hire but why is that an easy decision for you? A non-explosive offensive in Michigan put up decent points on UW.

No, not yet. We moved out of Park City this past spring, and are now living in Fort Collins on the front range in Colorado. It's a two hour drive to the resorts. I'm spoiled rotten with our old place being five minutes from the lift.
We are looking for a place closer to the resorts now. It's nice here, and I've been playing golf instead of skiing, but man I miss skiing a lot, and my youngest son is ready to start learning to ski, so I need to get back closer to the resorts ASAP.
Been loving Colorado though.

Congrats brother. First time I ever skied was for my bachelor party in Park City. It’s a great activity and beautiful county. Skiied once every other year or so then had kids and it’s too expensive to fly four out west to ski. Now I stick to mid Atlantic skiing when I get the itch.
Enjoy and be safe.

I'm an FSU alum. Lived in Tally 15 years. Norvell is a fraud. If Bama went that route we would be perpetually at Tennessee's current level.

Seems like it is going to be DeBoer.

I hope not. I don't believe either is a fit and Alabama would be hiring another coach in 3 years.
Dabo, which I also don't want, Kiffin, Sark, Lanning would be much better hires.

Really the last three should be the choices but apparently Kiffin (my choice) has committed some unpardonable sins and Lanning doesn’t want the job. Leaves only Sark.

Norvell has been just hit by NCAA sanctions for NIL violations.
We still taking him?

Because he’s a sniveling bitch who quit and let most of his team quit. Perfect chance to show leadership and prove his team belonged, and he failed.
