Harsin couldn't hold Deboer's jock strap. Completely different coaches. One just played for a championship and has a history of winning. The other sucked.

We could do a lot worse. Major program head coaches rarely leave now that everyone pays big money. He got Washington to a national title game with a roster nowhere near the talent he can recruit at Alabama. Young, great offensive mind.

He also wouldn't have sniffed a playoff if you put his Washington team in the SEC.
He could be a great coach, but he is very unproven for the Bama job IMO.
