That past 5 years, he has not had the best players every year. The talent pool was diversified once NIL hit. The last couple Bama teams looked like the LSU teams he had. Heavy on defense and an offense that could just get it done enough.

3 of those rings were gifts. Covid and twice they did not even win the SEC West. Great teams that were bought before buying was legal but not all deserving of the gifts they received.
