You don't understand.

Alabama football passed away.

Now let's all gather around and piss on their grave.

It’s a religion. Did you see the video of the airport when he was hired?

Gumps on social media are acting like he is. It's comical how angry they are when called out in comments

Oh horse puckey.. while there is anything from ok to awesome food around New Orleans, you still have Alexandria. BBQ? Dreamlands is pretty good… (next time you go to Titletown for a tigger loss, don’t miss Archibald’s for ribs)

Y’all eating boudin is like Tennesseans thinking Jack is good whisky… get yourself some Conecuh sausage!

When your entire identity revolves around the success of Alabama Football and the provider of that success retires, it's a fate worse than death. This has less to do with 'Bama alumni and more to do with slap-dick meth monkeys living in trailers on the outskirts of Dothan who never attended a college class, much less at 'Bama. Bama grads and students are probably saying "Thanks, Coach" and hoping for a good hire. Sidewalkers are drinking two-fisted to cope.

The funny thing is, Petrino also was into coke and cream pies when he left...
