Alabama quarterback Ty Simpson is expected to remain with the program for 2024, per @tuscaloosanews.
I gotta say he looked really good when he got in vs Kentucky and Chattanooga. I think him and Sayin will push Jalen to get better.

Ty will be much better with another offseason in the program. Milroe won’t be guaranteed anything at this point.

Now that’s interesting. It’s being reported he made his final decision to stay after a sit down with Nick…I wonder what Saban said…

I was never impressed with Ty’s actual play until later in the year. He looked good.

Hey if he’s staying because he thinks he can win the job back then more power to him. That’s good for our QB room in general.

That’s an interesting development. Milroe is absolutely QB1 next year, don’t see how he’s going to be unseated, so maybe Ty is looking for a 1 and done the following season?

He'll will win the job...if Nick Saban gives him a legit opportunity.

Half of the folks who thinks its Jalen Milroe's job is foolish. He can't run a full offense yet. Can he get better? Yes! But I do think Ty Simpson will be the BEST quarterback for next seasons team.

He has it all...only time will tell.

Y’all can pencil me in again for the Ty Simpson side when we inevitably fight like the baltics over a spring QB battle

Interesting. I expect him to be here for spring and see how that goes. That will tell us a lot. If it’s clear he’s not going to pass up Milroe then he might transfer after spring.

That being said, love his competitiveness and I think he’ll push Jalen

Everyone needs to remember that the portal opens back up after spring practices.

Maybe bringing in his dad as QB coach, ha. If Milroe feels slighted or threatened, his stock will never be higher than right now. I doubt we would match an incredible offer from somewhere else.

Ty looked really good against UK and Chattanooga. This is really huge. Either Milroe will get better or he loses his spot to someone who is better. And I think after the Tua/Jalen situation Saban won’t hesitate to make a move.

I believe in Jalen tho

This!! He looked much more comfortable and looked like the player that some were saying was going to start.

Competition is good for anyone at any position. Either it will make Jalen and the entire QB room better, or guys will fold to the pressure. I saw one of the Bama beat guys saying the only backup OL currently on the roster are True Freshman or will be redshirt freshman. Is that true?
