I heard today that UM plays all season on turf and that the Rose Bowl Is on grass which the SEC mostly plays on all season. That it will cause problems for UM trying to play on grass. Interesting take on something I never thought that could provide an advantage

Michigan is used to the Rose Bowl. It would be surprising if they're not set up to handle that turf.

When's the last time Michigan played in the Rose Bowl?

It was 2007. But do you think they'll scrimp on buying the right shoes?

They played Penn State and Michigan State on grass, they will be fine.

The Rose Bowl is a fast playing surface. It should benefit Alabama because of our speed.

Didn't they say the last 3 games Michigan played on grass, they lost??

They have lost the last three Rose Bowls. Either way if you play and train all season on turf cleats will not help much if not use to grass.
