On Ladd McConkey... "Ladd's been great. Ladd's been practicing with us, working out. Ladd wants to play. Ladd's missed some games and hasn't been able to play in some games. He's still coming off of an injury in the SEC Championship Game that he's still not 100% from. But he's out there every day, taking reps, catching punts, he's doing a lot of good things. He's doing a lot of good things (inaudible). He's practicing, hitting good miles per hour. Ladd should be good to go."

Amarius dipping is not surprising especially if what happened in the SECCG is true. Brock owes us absolutely nothing, I just wish we could all see him play one last time in our jersey.

I still blame Auburn juuuuuuust a little bit
Me too, but what would have changed? Obviously bama would have 2 losses but it doesn't sound like that even matters considering the only reason FSU was left out was because of injury. Their QB would still be injured so why would bama having 2 losses opposed to 1 change that?
That's why the whole "best team" angle is shite and it's so frustating that they rug pulled everyone after doing it the exact opposite way the other 90% of the playoff's existence.

I think a 2 loss Bama lets us back door over them with one of the losses being at 5 or 6 loss Auburn, which was a game that Georgia won earlier. Then the whole season's body of work really comes into play for both teams and UGA gets in. The AU loss for Bama gives the committee a cop out to keep out the 2 loss SEC Champ that won by 3 points. Least that's how I've been putting myself to sleep at night.

Bullard and Lassiter both committed to playing.
Brock should be with team tomorrow per talkn Dawgs

He owes us nothing, but he owes it to himself, his brothers, and the collective to give it one more go if he's 100%.
FWIW, I don't think he's 100%, and I don't think he plays, but I can't see Brock working his arse off to get back and compete, only to opt out for selfish reasons for his last opportunity.
I do expect to see a dude like Brock suited up on the sidelines, so I'm not sure what to make of reports that he didn't get off the plane, unless he stayed back to rehab and will fly down later.

Radi Nabulsi reporting that Bowers & Mims will be arriving later this week. Last minute rehab/PT on campus?

Allow me to be the voice of every argument I hate but…Brock came back during the season to try to help us 3peat. Now that that’s off the table, if he’s not legitimately totally healthy then he really has no reason to play.

He may just want to play with his boys one last time
That dude has enough money accumulated at this point via NIL + Endorsements that he is probably risking very little to suit up and be a decoy.
Not that we need it, but if he wants in the game for whatever reason, go for it.

#19 has earned the right to go out on whatever terms he wishes.

UGA will get no credit for beating FSU regardless of the score.
They'll hide behind the opt-outs on their side, but I want to boat race FSU into oblivion. Their fans are by far the most annoying on social media and having a NY6 blowout against them will be a satisfying end to the year.
We need to wash the bad taste out of our mouth and grab some momentum for 2024

I would love to see 65-7 be a starting point.
That said, the majority of FSU's losses are on the offensive side of the ball. Their D has the potential to be stout enough to give a patchwork OL fits for 3 quarters.

With Verse opting out, I don’t see how they will get any pressure on Beck

Both of their starting CBs opted out yesterday. In addition to them and jared verse, they are also losing the following JUST on defense:
2nd string DT
Backup LB
starting safety
probably a backup DT (injury)
their D is going to be without it's best DL, a few other backup pieces on the DL, a starting S, and 2 starting DBs. Our OL definitely takes a hit replacing mims with truss, but we shoudl still have no problems scoring on them.

What's the scout report on their 3rd string QB?
mobile?
Dink and dunk?
haymaker?

He went 8/21 for 55 yards against Louisville with 12.8 QBR
As the starter and played all game

Florida State is missing most of its key pieces on offense due to opt-outs and injury, but most of one of the nation’s best defenses still is expected to play.
The big loss on that side of the ball is defensive end Jared Verse, a projected first-round draft pick.
Even with Verse opting out, the Seminoles have some players that can put pressure on Beck and the offensive line from a defense that ranks sixth in the nation in points allowed at 15.9.
Linebackers Kalen DeLoach (7 sacks) and Patrick Payton (6) and defensive lineman Braden Fiske (5) remain for a Florida State team that ranks third nationally in sacks with 45. Verse accounted for a team-high 9 of those.
Georgia still leads the SEC in fewest sacks given up with 12 even after giving up two to Alabama.
The Seminoles lead the nation in opponent completion percentage at 46.8 and pass breakups with 77. Cornerback Renardo Green led the ACC in pass breakups with 13.

Renardo Green is out. That summary is old. There have been multiple opt outs very recently.
