Nebraska had to have paid him a shite ton of money right? I've never been to Lincoln, but damn, it'd be hard for me to choose to live in Nebraska over Athens GA. I guess if he wants to get away from the distractions that might come along with going to college so close to your hometown, I can understand that. There is less trouble to get into in Lincoln than Athens I'd imagine.

Truthfully, by all accounts that I've seen, UGA just isn't giving the huge NIL deals to the incoming freshmen. Those deals are reserved for the "proven" guys.

Someone correct me if they have heard otherwise, but it shouldn't be hard for a determined team to out bag UGA in the NIL game for incoming freshmen.

Lincoln isn't devoid of things to do. It's just cold and snowy and brown for six months a year, but it is a decent party town for a college kid. It actually feels a bit more urban in it's core than a place like Athens. Lincoln is more comparable to maybe Lexington or Columbia, SC.

His hometown is in Arizona. He and his family have lived in GA for less than a year.

No he’s not from here. He moved to Buford and took some other highschool kids starting spot to be close to UGA. Then flipped. pretty wild tbh. Honestly it’s probably for the best after all this weirdness. Including a bizarre poem he posted tonight. I’d put money on him portaling out of Nebraska after next season and going to somewhere else in the SEC.

He actually started his career at Burleson near Ft. Worth under Jon Kitna. Then he went to Chandler. Then Buford in GA. But his family is originally from Hawaii.

My guess is he'll start his career at Nebraska, but it won't end there.

Edit: Chandler had won 6 state titles since 2014 when Raiola was there. He couldn't get the title there, either.
