they make up the bull shite affair allegations.
So, you know for a fact that whatever the allegations are/were are made up?

Please share with all here how you KNOW the allegations were made up.

As usual, you are just spewing shite out of your arse/mouth (same thing).

I don’t even need to look because my first thought is there are a LOT more schools out there than just SEC schools. Second, overall school rankings are not nearly as important as individual colleges/programs. There are some mediocre schools that have fantastic, highly regarded colleges for certain majors; and highly ranked schools that have dogshit colleges and majors. I would wager that engineering graduates from Mississippi State by and large are much more financially successful than art history majors from Vanderbilt despite a wide disparity in school rankings. Third, I don’t really care what current rankings are as I have no plans to go back to school 25 years later. And finally, the current college ranking system by U.S. News and World report is a farce.

It's not where you go, but what you absorb and learn. Unfortunately, I work with several auburn engineering grads that are honestly too stupid to get in out of the rain. But they are QUICK to tell you they are engineers from auburn....

Auburn is kind of sick

Harsin preached hard work, accountability, responsibility and while he refused to recruit his roster, retain and support his staff and ingratiate himself to the very people that pumped massive amounts of money into AU Athletics.

He wouldn't even leave campus to travel inside a 100-mile radius to visit the biggest high schools that stock the best talent in-state. Months passed by before he bothered to shake the hand of Jimmy Rane.

I have no idea what kind of ego Harsin espoused to have logically thought that 1) he didn't need top quality talent to compete in the SEC 2) he didn't have to build relationships with the high school coaches he'd be pulling that talent from or 3) he was too good to meet and greet the main money men that literally fund his program and facilities?

Auburn should've fired him after NSD in February '22 when he landed zero signees.

The timing was atrocious, Jay Gogue (who chose to distance himself from athletics) had one foot out the door and wouldn't back the termination. Harsin was a dead man walking from the end of the investigation until is termination and everyone knew it.

He was known as a dickhead at BSU. Arrogant and a douche. Auburn didn't do enough research before hiring him.

Not to complain but DuBose was in the 80’s. Most people on here were not even born then.
So long ago, bet he was just misunderstood.

Auburn didn't say he was racist, players and his DC did

100% correct. Also, the affair rumor started on The Bunker. The post was eventually zapped by the admins, but too late to squelch the rumor.

Our AD hanging out in a hot tub with him wasn't enough?

The whole Harsin thing is just bizarre. It's like he was hardly there and I forget he even coached at Auburn. it's weird how this thing came unraveled so rapidly and now Harsin has disappeared like a ghost

It really is. I seem to recall that Terry Bowden's tenure there had a rapid, weird ending as well and he had a very low profile career afterwards.

What were the HC candidates at the time? I can't remember who the "jelly of the month" (nod to Irons Puppet) were at the time.

I do know the folks that claimed they didn't know Bryan Harsin (myself included) were told by some Auburn fans that we "must know follow college football" if we didn't know who the hell he was. AND that he "held the #3 highest winning percentage behind Saban & Swinney" at the time he was hired.

There weren't many, but this name came out of left field because of Green's visit with him for an hour in a hot tub which was shared already.

He talked a good game about a process and culture, and then proceeded to do nothing except post photos of him working out.

No question it was time for Gus to leave, but Harsin was a terrible fit, and Green was in over his head plus the school president was a dumb arse.

Sounds like more than enough evidence to fire him "with cause" and not pay him a dime. Why didn't AU do this?

So why didn’t the stupid Auburn administrators know this when they hired him?

They've been fired too.

There's not a fan of any school with an IQ over room temperature who would have kept Harsin any longer than Auburn did. Should have never hired him in the first place. The last coach who did as poorly as Harsin was replaced by Shug, in 1950.

I get there’s a degree of sliminess at every program. But, have never seen boosters publicly smear and sabotage their sitting coach to get out of paying him. That’s a new one on me.
