Exactly, there will always be an argument over who gets in vs who gets out
But with 12 teams an undefeated conference champion should probably always get in (unless it’s like some crazy shitty conference) which is just objectively better. If a team is undefeated they should always get a chance to fight for the championship, and I think that’s extremely important

Give it up.
FSU isn't as good as Georgia, Ohio St, Texas, Alabama, Washington, Michigan, Oregon or Missouri.

I would also argue beating 10-2 Louisville with a 3rd string QB is simply an objectively better result than needing a miracle to beat an AWFUL Auburn team with your STARTING quarterback
But I think logic left the room a while ago

Kicking out an undefeated conference champion just because you think Alabama is better is honestly inexcusable.
Why are you not upset about Texas taking Liberty's spot then?

How do you not get it yet? It’s not about who you, or anyone else thinks is best. It’s about the games played on the field

I meant to type Power 5 (I think this was obvious but whatever)

TCU of last year>FSU of this year

I gave up on this season long before the Alabama game, and tbh I wasn’t even that into it to start with.
Well that’s a lie.

Honestly I wish it was. I miss feeling involved during the CFB season. Hopefully LSU gives me something to care about soon. Really the only thing I followed this year after the FSU loss was Jayden for Heisman

You mean a 10-1 Louisville that was beaten the prior week by a 6-5 Kentucky? A conference division winner beaten by the 6th place team in their conference?
Yep, logic left the room a while ago.

They lost to a pretty decent Kentucky team? That makes them a worse win than 6-6 Auburn??? Lmfao

Ok, what about nearly blowing a 3 TD lead against BC who has the same record as Auburn? What about having to come from behind in the 2nd half against UNA who was a DII school 2 years ago? Youre cherrypicking games that fit your viewpoint.
The logic is simple: there's a massive difference in the SoS for Alabama & FSU. Their best win is the 5th best team in the SEC. Couple that with their star QB being out & its pretty logical to think they are not one of the 4 best teams in the country.

No, you’re comparing a team that has a loss, and also some really bad wins (I didn’t even mention USF and Arkansas)
To a team with some really bad wins, but ZERO losses
It’s just not even a comparison

Well you're letting your moldy vagina bleed all over this thread about an ACC team so it really wasn't that obvious. So you think the ACC is equal to the SEC in terms of talent, coaching, and overall quality of the football programs in the respective conferences? I mean you must if you think that there needs to be no inquiry beyond record.

I dont know what to tell you except all college football schedules are not equal. By your logic, Liberty should be in over Texas.

Kentucky, 7-5, 3-5, 6th in division = pretty decent team.
Auburn, 6-6, 3-5, 5th in division = horrible team.
Yeah, you got me there.

Alabama is clearly better than LSU.
