No, no, no. Conference championships still don't matter if it's Texas or FSU. Try and keep up.

I’m 2007 they did. Then they didn’t in 2011. Then they did in 2012. Then they didn’t in 2017, 2021, but did in 2022.

Conference championships didn't matter in 2001, 2016, 2017, 2021, or 2022 either. Why the hell are we still talking about 2011 as if it was some one off fluke?

2011 was a BCS formula and now it’s a playoff committee, two different things.

That was a rough one, no doubt

huh? All three teams up for debate or conference, champions. FSU is a conf champ too.
It’s who you beat over the course of the season. Bama beat 3 teams in top 15. FSU and UT beat one, #13 LSU and #8, Alabama, respectively
Meanwhile, one of the three Alabama beat was the team the voting committee said was the best team in all of college football.

Just like Bama, Oklahoma state didn’t play in a conference championship game. So in terms of resume, it doesn’t mean shite

Did tx and FSU just win their conference?

Also, offensive teams don't play real football and OK St could never beat a defensive team.

Determined by AP and coaches votes.
Do you really want to open the can of worms of Saban's media comments politicking for votes?

Bama has been in at least 3 title games/playoffs they didn’t deserve to be there. Can’t wait to see their fans cry about this today
