Some of you remember last year I made a post about my cousin who has watched almost every game with my for over a decade found out he has cancer. It looked like a rough road but his chances were pretty high of beating it. Things haven’t gone great and mostly get worse it seems. One of his friends found AJ on Cameo and decided to pay to have AJ send Kevin a video. I think he paid for a 30 second video of well wishes. AJ sent Kevin a nearly three minute video thanking his for being a fan and really uplifting him and his spirits. Inspiring him to continue to fight, and offerings thoughts and prayers. He ended the cameo with a Roll Tide. After the video got sent, AJ refunded the money to Kevin’s friend. Absolutely a class act move. Just thought I’d share a somewhat positive story in a world full of negative. RTR!!

Any other Alabama QB with three rings?

Didn't get get one from 2009?

And then led wire to wire in 2011 and 2012.

GOAT.

I didn't know where this thread would be going when I clicked, but solid story. Best of wishes for your cousin and his fight.

One last second voodoo play or one decent FG kicker from three in a row and 4 rings

Praying for your cousin for sure.

I saw AJ once after a game in either 2011 or 2012 take pictures with EVERY fan who wanted one. That dude was a shining example of someone who had it all, and was a good guy.

Thanks for the prayers everyone. I was told by his kids that the doctors told him to make any amends he needed to make for this holiday season. He is fighting and will until he can't. We underestimate the words Roll tide. It may just be a war cry to football fans to some; but for a man literally fighting every day to live, those words meant so much more. He said that gesture and those words made him smile bigger than he has smiled in months.

Good for AJ. I like to hear stories about athletes like this. Makes it even better when it's one of ours.
