Like listening to a football scientist compared to Pittman aka “ah shucks”. Any chance Petrino becomes head hog again?

Here we go with this crap....
Dude, Let it ride. I am appreciative of Pittboss willingness to attempt to correct his mistakes since taking us to 9 wins. He is determined to do better, in stead of taking the millions and going to the lake.
I do not want BP back as HC until both have proven something... BOTH!

Any chance we won’t have to hear this asked a gazillion times before next season?
Doubtful

Just let the men do their jobs and see how it goes. Cross that bridge when we come to it. It does nothing but put unnecessary strain on the current situation until otherwise.

It is the idea situation with petrino focusing on the offense and someone else focusing on recruiting, roster management, media relations, fundraising, etc.
Petrino is a good offensive coach, he is a bad program manager.
The wheels constantly fall off in year 4/5 of Petrino's programs where roster management and recruiting first starts to show itself. Happened at Louisville twice, happened here, it even happened at Missouri state.
Sam let's his coordinators do pretty much whatever they want with their side of the ball, so you can get the best out of the coordinators without having to deal with the worst of good coordinators who are bad managers.
Pitt is able to attract better position coaches than petrino was, at Louisville every relative in the coaching world was on his staff. If Pitt fires Kennedy this week he can show performance matters above personal relationships or loyalty to assistants, but the issue here is petrino will work with whomever not demand the offensive staff is filled with his guys...

Pittman saying we don’t poach players from other teams like other teams do probably upset some people.
My opinion, poaching players would be detrimental to relationships in the coaching circles. Right wrong or indifferent

I told myself after this season I was no longer going to buy in on the off/preseason hype ever again.
But dammit if I’m not going to be lured in again. Especially if we domino in the portal.
Mission accomplished.
