Clemson goes into Tuscaloosa and beats alabama

Jay Williams was on the broadcast and said:
“What’s the point of playing at home if it’s not going to have a home-court advantage?” Williams asked on the game broadcast. “Like, this doesn’t feel like a home-court advantage at all for Alabama. This place is not packed, the fans don’t seem to be engaged, it seems to be more like a tennis match, and by the way, Clemson has been taking the air out of the building.”
NIT Oats responds (and agrees):
“At times I’m sure it did (sound like a tennis match),” Oats said. “They called the timeout, I heard the crowd was great at times. We gotta give them something to cheer about to be honest with you.”

We will look back on that play as a turning point in Freezes tenure. I know it’s very early on but that’s the kinda thing that’ll stick in a teams psychy. It would have been much better if they were just blown out.

Some really talented Alabama teams in 2021 and last season missed the boat to break new ground because of San Diego St and first four 11 seed UCLA.
Tough break for Alabama basketball

I know you're trying REALLY hard, but Alabama basketball is to us a lot like Auburn football is to you guys.
An occasional nice run with a whole lot of disappointment on either side, to the point that you can't even get mad.

Alabama's soft, out of condition, or BOTH. They just folded half way through the 2nd half, then Clemson curb stomped them. Oats has a TON of work ahead of him, if they're gonna be a bonified threat on a national level.

Must have missed Bama winning a Basketball National Championship and playing for a second all since 2010… crazy I don’t remember all that somehow.

Is this where I say “stop living in the past”?

Clemson is unbeaten and playing very well. Not the end of the world. As far as the crowd goes Bama is getting ready for the SECCG as we are in the biggest time of the year for football. Not many folks paying attention to basketball right now to be honest. This isn't Duke or North Carolina. The crowds will be just fine and Bama will be fine.

By watching the game, you would have never known that Jay Williams is an ACC hack.

*8:30 tip on a school night after a holiday.. I'm sure that probably played a factor in crowd size and crowd energy.
But no worries.. the crowds will increase and if the product is good..it'll be loud.

Granted the only games I’ve been able to watch of Bama this season were Ohio State and Clemson… so I have admittedly only seen them at their worst… but this looks like an NCAA bubble team at best.
If Bama plays like they did last night, they will get boat raced by Purdue and Arizona. Will put them in a spot that they must go 10-8 or better in SEC play which is difficult. That Creighton game is a must-win.

Too many seats. Need to build a tiny arena like Auburn's. Then it's much easier to pack out and create more noise.
It's odd how obsessive Auburn is over anything that happens negative to Alabama. They enjoy hating Bama more than they enjoy rooting for their own team.
Pathetic existence.

There are 4th and 31 polo shirts being sold at a Tuscaloosa men’s store. Hatred in this rivalry is two-sided so don’t pretend it only matters to Auburn.
