Short Bus Billy still needs to replace the lb coach if sale leaves we might not have a new OL coach until after the spring game!

Can you give it a rest with the constant complaining? Peppered negative comments here and there are fine, and we all have our moments when we’re frustrated and critical. But come on, every single one of your posts are negative, and your schtick of railing against the administration in the third person has gotten old.

Rumors that Napier may promote Russ to OC, if there is going to be an OC.

EDIT: The rumors are coming from Higdon, who sucks but does occasionally get things right.

Wouldn’t love it but I’ll take it if Russ can run his offense

Look at what lsu is doing rn and what this budget staff and program is
LSU had 10 wins last year and we had half but the sense of urgency and desire to win shown in off season moves u would think it was the other way around

And Thecaw has had positive thing s to say about Todd Golden if u look at the comment in the basketball thread so that’s not true
If positive things happen I’ll comment on them if negative things do, same

Rumor is Lsu is hiring Corey Raymond. So....they must not care. Because, he sucks.

He’s a elite recruiter with the staff they are putting is elite with baker and Davis
Raymond will be fine with a real DC and not some 30 year old kid who is a grad assistant
LSU fans complaining about db recruiting so they bring in Raymond get the dudes and put them in a system run by a legit DC and they will win big

But, he's an awful coach. They fired him for that very reason.

Napier better be on the phone with every Bama player, recruit, parent, baby momma, and rouge uncle that is from Florida.

Would be an excellent way to get an infusion of talent and change direction if program.

we’re trying to stay above the South Carolinas and arkansases of the world, and try to catch up to Kentucky Missouri and ole miss

Any recruit looking at elite programs like Alabama or Georgia aren’t considering florida

Napier's scheme isn't an issue as much as his feel for the game and when to call certain plays is awful. There are a lot of similarities between his zone run scheme and guys like Shanahan and McDaniel. You just don't see them calling double reverse passes like Napier did against FSU. There's also some personnel issues with our O-Line, since you usually have smaller, quicker OL who can move in that scheme, and we recruit guys who are 6'7" 330 lbs exclusively.

But the bigger issue with Napier seems to be a lack of bandwidth. That is why I am more than ok with anyone taking over playcalling duties. The special teams miscues especially show that. He can't manage both the playcalling and the game overall. I honestly don't think anyone can do that super well anymore with how thin head coaches are spead.

Was he going to get play time here? I guess the freshmen are projected to start in front of him. But I thought he might get some play time because of depth?

He rarely played this yr, most action he saw was vs Arky and I believe that was due to injuries.

The days of kids riding pine for 2 yrs to start are gone.

Saban retired for reasons .. CFB is broken
