Every school in the conf has knocked it out the park with their new hires Bama State While we just sit here still without an OC and a child for DC.
nothing will change until we fire the entire uaa. The problem is this and has always been this is easier said than done….. it took a billionaire donor with a platform and a history of loving to pick fights to go in and get Harvard’s President to resign for various reasons and she’s still there with the same salary and Bill Ackman is still tweeting about it by the hour continuing to counter punch and torpedo all his agitators. It’s nearly impossible to get a university administrative bureaucrat forced out its really hard when an entity of it has numerous ppl and ppl above them who think the same way they do.

And this is our uaa it’s the like from a university standpoint it’s the single least relevant bureaucracy it has. I’m sure Ben Sasse sees what’s going on but this isn’t a fight he really wants to go pick, also in this case the boosters who matter love them!

Y’all think like this is every other sec school and it is not. Winning isn’t the most important thing for most of our bullgators it’s so they give them a say in stuff. How nicely are they and their family’s treated when in Gainesville ect. They really rather have premium seats than do what it takes to win games. They just don’t care that much or like a Alabama or ole miss would. That’s how this continues

Shea Dixon from on3 said CB Desomond Ricks is in the portal and Bama fans think he's coming to Florida.

I thought he might come to Florida due to his relationship with Raymond but since he’s gone….

We're not going to get anyone high level in the portal with this staff this off-season.

Only way the momentum could shift is if we win a lot of games next year. In other words, we'll need to rely on Napier's in-game coaching to get the program back on track.

Well, at least he's trying to right the ship.

Hard pull for the OC to leave OM tho

FSU portal rank is #3 with 14 commits (10 four star & 4 three star)

UF portal rank is #34 with 9 commits (2 four star & 6 three star, Douglas is not ranked)

No decent OC is coming here I would think knowing there is a good chance they are only here one year. Same situation Muschamp ended up in.

I am not going to sugarcoat it. We have been really bad in the portal so far considering our needs and that we are supposed to be one of these top football schools. Getting scared we may become like Stoops KY team as far as our ceiling. Maybe too many of our real big money people are nerds.

We are a carcass of a program at this point and the stench is keeping impact players away. It is going to get REALLY ugly next year. Can't wait for it to be over with.

getting to the point where folding the program would hurt or Rivals more than continuing to operate it as is

Seriously Georgia and fsu fans would be upset if those games weren’t played anymore it’s an easy win for them now

Yep except for a WR and the guys Napier brought with him the portal has mostly been a joke for us while other teams are effectively using it to be competitive.

that’s the thing we look at the portal thru how Napier has used it and it’s nothing because Napier sucks at the portal

Teams that actually used it effectively have benefited from it but our staff is absolutely clueless and incompetent

How much is it our Big Boosters not being like some other teams you think? I told one friend I thought maybe the school had got too nerdy and we had too many big money guys not into football like the ones from years ago.

definitely a factor
Lots of alumni will donate to the school BUT NOT the football program
A lot of the older boosters are problems too look at Hal Lewis for example
They just want nice guy yes men that will have dinner and pose for pictures with them at embers
Or they want more luxury boxes and a $500 million fancy new kitchen at the swamp more than paying nil for elite players or hiring big time coaches or assistant coaches

The boosters are definitely a problem but not just the new ones the old guard is too

Another factor is we’ve been shitty for so long with those mid major hires for HC that the fans are beginning to feel tired and apathy and less willing to give. Hal is a uaa plant but he makes a point in if the average fan gave a bit more it would help bu the fact that that loser misses is the average fan doesn’t trust the staff coach or admin to do the right thing with the money so frick no we’re not gonna give to there Ponzi scheme to destroy the swamp
