It didn't affect the spread so I'm wondering if that ref just took some sort of prop bet that it would be a single score game

Bama called one Iron Bowl "The Run in the Mud" 55 years ago. There's also "Wrong Way Bo," "The Kick," "The Drive" just off the top of my head. Naming games isn't just an Auburn thing.
