I couldn’t imagine what the players and staff would say if you were introduced by Kirby as a guest speaker for the team at a practice next week to present this strategy.
That's a funny visual.
If I could post pictures I would post the picture of Charlie in the mail room and Pepe Silvia

You explain a little better how purposely losing or even half assing an effort to win prepares a teams mindset to be a championship team.

Would you agree that there is added pressure on the current team to avoid losing the streak?
Hiding this in here for when Steelers comes through here two days from now and drops the dorkiest post you've ever seen. frick off steelers
Would you agree that being the team that breaks the streak gives our opponents more motivation, even if it's only a 1-2% increase.
Would losing both of those small, but non-zero, outside influences help or hurt the team?
I rest my case.

it doesnt help our chances to make the playoffs because if we lose to Bama we will most likely be eliminated regardless.

Gators already one loss so they needed to win out to get to playoffs. Not a good comparison
Yet, Mullen sat players, and they threw a shoe, lost, then got drug by Alabama when the team basically quit on Mullen for his retarded bullshite, and then players sat out, en masse, for the bowl game.
Jesus frick, you are writing a script for a movie about how to lose the respect of a team and go from an all time, historic run, to a program in shambles.
Nobody would respect Kirby.
I've already responded too much to this autism.

I'm open to hearing counter arguments as to how losing to Tennessee would negatively affect our playoff chances... assuming we beat Tech and Win SECCG
Lets assume this scenario as worst case for our chances.
Oregon wins Pac-12 at 12-1
Michigan wins BIG10 at 13-0
FSU- 13-0
Texas - 12-1
UGA 12-1
Even in this scenario, UGA still goes to the playoffs without a doubt. Texas sitting at the house.

What if I told you Kirby has already used this strategy? How would that make you feel?
Anyone remember the 2021 SECCG???
Mission. Team. Me.

Are you asking, if Kirby Smart should tell his players that they need to lose? Are you that stupid? This is the worst post ever typed here

Georgia Bulldogs head coach Kirby Smart believes Saturday's 41-24 loss to the Alabama Crimson Tide in the SEC Championship Game reinvigorated his squad entering the College Football Playoff.
"It didn't do any damage," Smart told reporters after the loss. "What it did was reinvigorate our energy. It re-centers you, right? Their greatest thing is when [the Tide] lost their game against Texas A&M, they garnered some focus and some attention. To me, that's an opportunity for a wake-up call, if anything."
This motherfricker is playing 4-d chess, y'all stuck playing cracker barrel checkers...I didn't even know this quote existed yet he basically spells out my exact point. It must be a South Georgia thing.

I'm in Lake Park on a lake less than a mile from the Georgia/Florida line (200 yards from my property line). No one here is more South Georgia than me.
I, too, sometimes troll for fish in the afternoons. Catch a few too. You have won the day.

Well. Schedule isn’t good enough. Dawgs need to win all games. /end thread.

No. Not at all. I think you are over analyzing the average mindset of athletes talented enough to play college football at the highest level.
There is always pressure. If they lose against UT then they will be under even more pressure to win the GT game and the SECCG should we beat Ole Miss. Losing is always worse than winning. Losing to UT in a final game with historic records on the line, because we half assed the effort, would be disastrous to this teams pyshe. The coaches would lose the team if that was even attempted. These players work their arse off to prove they are the best. To take that away and not let them earn it in a marquee game on prime time broadcast would be absurd.
I know you are throwing out a “what if” hypothesis but that would never jive with true competitors.
