Ole Miss fans are a lot like A&M fans. Talk smack and brag and occasionally upset a ranked team but never win anything of real importance. They’re never really considered an actual national championship contender. That will never change because their Ole Miss.

We’re good at many sports. We always have something to look forward to. If LSU football wins out, which is highly likely, we’ll have the exact record I predicted at the start of the season, so nothing to be disappointed about. We know what changes need to be made and have another great class is coming in next year. Only losing to top ten teams when you’re in year two of a rebuild is nothing to scoff at.

Brian Kelly has never won a major bowl game. His best victory is the Citrus Bowl. He won’t have a chance to win a major bowl game this year. Lane will. And if he wins that game, he will be able to add that to his resume. Currently, both coaches are 0 for in major bowl games.

Sugar bowl is kind of a big deal. We’re fourth in number of trips behind Alabama, LSU, and Georgia. In ten trips we’re 6-4, in LSUs thirteen trips you are 6-7. I know math is hard but that means we have a better win percentage than you.
