Hurts is the godfather of Brown's daughter and they both were there for each other on draft day.

Yeah I think Hurts spent quite a lot of time in Oxford just hanging out with his friend AJ back a few years ago when they were in college

They’ve been close friends for a while

A guy with Sidewalk in his username is trying to crack on Alabama fans about where Jalen Hurts went to school. Because Hurt’s Eagles teammate, an Ole Miss product, was wearing an Oklahoma shirt. It is not a well thought out thread.

After LSU goes off on Bama it will be quite fitting to continue comparing to tGOAT team.

Jalen Hurts recruited AJ Brown to Alabama and was his host. AJ Brown didn't come to Alabama and he regrets it.

You were the first person to mention Alabama in this thread.

It has nothing to do with Alabama at all.

OU can claim Hurts all they want. It’s only fair. I’ll take Ricks, Gibbs, Jamo and Dickerson as certified Bama guys in exchange.

We have the best QB statistically in the league right now. 2 other starters.

Hurts knows he became the player he is today as a backup in 2018. OU didn’t develop him. He developed himself. He took initiative to improve after losing his gig and he displayed it in the sec title game vs Georgia. That version of Hurts is who you see today in the nfl.

I really don't think he regrets anything.

AJ just doesn’t want to wear any Ole Miss gear. Who can blame him?

Would a have been a top 5 1st round pick at Bama. Cost himself about 20 million in career earning on his 1s contract.

He's set to have over $100 million in career earnings just by the end of this contract. I can promise you he isn't losing any sleep.
