After wandering in the wilderness with only a moped chase to our name, it's good to finally see progress.

Aren't these players probably making more than I do now?

It is a question that I asked last week. How many of the 85 scholarship players that we have are getting some kind of NIL deal that matters? Or half the players getting paid and the other half not? Or are all the guys getting something significant?
It would be interesting to know how the NIL deals are affecting the locker room and relationship between the players. And, like you stated, if everybody's getting paid, why are they still stealing?

Of course not.
Some, sure.
I never heard of Darron Reed why would he be given top NIL deals. He probably gets a stipend of some sort.

IMpossible. We were assured by all the "experts" that no such thing (jealousy) would ever happen. One big happy family.

Top DT of last class. Late flip. Probably would be playing for depth but had a hand injury in camp

What are yall even talking about.
NIL isnt responsible for the arrest. NIL does help land recruits.
Bunch of old, cantankerous men bitching is all this is about.
Go back to your positivity thread where posters pretend to be positive.

They are asking if a kid is getting 100k a year to play school why are they in possession of stolen property
Posted on 11/1/23 at 8:31 am to CorchJay
100,000 is what they are implying because they are carrying on with a dishonest conversation to soothe some narrative that NIL helps pay for weed.

I have no idea what his NIL deal but to flip him from LSU I would say 100k minimum per year for a mid-high ranked 4 star DT would be very reasonable.
Have no idea what he spends his money on but I can understand why people would question why a kid 18 years old would need to be in possession of stolen property and trying to sell if he is getting anywhere near 6 figures

He isnt making 100k per year.
The market rate is more than likely markedly different than that number. I am willing to bet he isnt making half of that.
