How do you guys see it unfolding? Feel free to predict top 4 or top 6. Or whatever you want.

I truly believe the CFP selection committee will make a statement based on SOS. Maybe I’m naive but I don’t think we see UGA or Michigan in the top 2. Neither have beaten a ranked team all year. Teams that go out and schedule actual competition need to be rewarded.

1 Ohio State
2 Florida State
3 Georgia
4 Michigan

I think Bama should get more love but we’ll be held up to our previous team’s standard instead of the rest of the teams across CFB. Beat Ole Miss and Tennessee by double digits. Won at Texas Am. Lost to a playoff caliber team in Texas.

Bama will need to win out and receive a lot of help from teams they have no control of.

Having UGA over OSU and FSU makes no sense to me

Is the ranking supposed to be based on what you’ve done this season or the past 3?

Win out and we don't need any help from anyone.

Oklahoma losing yesterday was huge for us.

One of Michigan/Ohio State will lose.

Washington has looked like poo since the Oregon game.

Winning out means beating Georgia so we'd get in over them.

I disagree with this but I do believe we will get help.

If Texas beats OU in the B12 CG they will get in before us because of head-to-head. Also worried OU beating Texas for a second tome after Texas beat us does not bode well for us getting in over OU assuming they win out. With that being said I think OU drops another game or 2 starting this weekend.

I think the whole PAC12 has gotten exposed for being over ranked the first few weeks. I like Oregon beating Washington in the title game which I think would bode well for us.

Agree here and whoever wins out is in.

FSU unfortunately looks like they will walk into the playoffs.

Right now, I see it finishing B10, ACC, B12, and SEC winner.

I don't think there's any reasonable explanation. If there was, Bama would have made the top 4 last season.

Based on what? The only way I see 12-1 Bama possibly getting left out is

Undefeated FSU
Undefeated Michigan/Ohio State
Undefeated Washington
1 loss Texas

I highly doubt that’s happening. Washington looks due for a loss any week, and they have a tough remaining schedule. Florida State still has two rivalries and a conference championship game left. Texas has a pretty easy schedule but is on a reserve QB.

Even if it did happen, I’d be surprised if an ESPN run playoff went forward without a single team from the ESPN run SEC.

Last year’s team has no one to blame but themselves for getting left out. They played down to the competition every week.

This year’s team may be worse because of a large drop in QB play even though Milroe is playing pretty well by now, but they’re more enjoyable to watch because they give consistent effort.

Can't argue with that.

If Bama wins out, they're in. It doesn't matter if teams ahead of us don't lose. They're not keeping a 12-1 SEC champ that beat the 2 time defending national champ in the SEC title game out. They'll take Bama over FSU or UW if it comes to that, but in reality, OSU and Michigan play each other, so the loser would be out, and UW has looked bad and plays in a traditionally weak conference, but if Bama beats UGA and they were deciding between Bama at 12-1, UGA at 12-1, UW at 13-0, OSU/Mich winner at 13-0, and FSU at 13-0 they're going to leave out UGA or UW or FSU before leaving out 12-1 Bama. Bama would end up being the #2 seed in that case.

I'm not even worried about Texas because that game was a lifetime ago, Texas is playing a different QB now and Bama's QB is playing like a different guy. Texas fans would be mad, but Bama gets in over Texas.

We will see tomorrow but my guess in the CFB playoff poll tomorrow my guess is both 1 loss Oregon and Texas will be ahead of us including the 5 undefeated teams. Alabama will probably be 8 tomorrow night.

The poll tomorrow will say a lot in what the committee is going to do.

I see no way UA as a 1 loss champ goes to #2 ahead of unbeaten champs. JMO

I couldn't imagine that situation happening. The only thing worse would be UGA getting in over us. I kinda wouldnt mind seeing how that scenario would play out.
