I wonder what the deal was with him. You never see guys redshirt anymore unless there's some health issue going on that is preventing them from playing. I think he had something relatively minor right before the season started, but I don't remember seeing anything about a surgical procedure that would keep him out.

He's going to be a good one. Go be great KP!

We should have 3 open scholarships (Aaron Estrada, Kris Parker, and Kia Spears)

In other words we should have enough for our high school guys that we signed. (Naas Cunningham, Aiden Sherrell, Derrion Reid)

One more would have to leave for Houston Mallette.(think that's how his last name is spelled)

I think it was something about picking up concepts but I remember when he played in limited minutes versus Wake Forest or one of those secret scrimmages and never heard about him again.

I have a feeling Oats will help him land somewhere solid like Juwan Gary to Nebraska.

I think at least two more leaves and yes those could be the candidates.

I think we see some land at Kennesaw State, Arkansas State, or Georgia Southern.

I think so as well. It's really two guys that I hope he goes after.

I want Ballo. He's used to playing in an fast tempo offense. Gives us physicality we're desperately needing, and I could a Ballo Oats shirt.

That was a head scratcher to me. In the limited practice videos I saw of him, he looked like a guy that could have been getting minutes THIS year. He has size and ability.

I’m just now realizing Jimmy Dykes 2 loves (Calipari and Arkansas) are now combined. He is going to be brutal this season

I saw on Twitter where someone was speculating that Oats/KP could tell from the get go that he wouldn’t be a system fit so it’d be better for his future to redshirt and save that eligibility for the transfer after the season. Who knows if that’s true or not but I saw it on the internet so I lean towards it being true.

It seems pretty clear that at some point around mid-way through the SEC schedule they made an agreement with him they would not burn his redshirt, because it was pretty clear we could have used another long athlete in a few spurts the last 3 weeks with some of our injury issues (Wrightsell, Rylan) at his general position.

He is 6'9...the highlights he posted alone should get him somewhere good.
