I think as a young, inexperienced team not used to success a weak non conference schedule is good. Once you reach a certain level, play tough teams to find out where you stand.

Tennessee plays football on the hardwood. If their opponent plays tough too or the refs call it right they aren’t that impressive. They are a bad matchup for Bama but glad to see other teams beat them. My least favorite program in the SEC right now.

We're really lucky that the wheels haven't come off at Clemson too. Brownell is garbage and I'm still worried they could drop 5 in a row and tank their NET though.

The fact we are talking conference title and # 3 seed after our roster leaving and 3 coaches? Absurd

I don’t care if Clemson loses 10 straight

We’ll be fine

Ohio States still in the top 70 and Clemsons 28. All we have to do is keep winning baby.

The later you get in the season the less youre gonna move up or down in the metrics with a win or loss. You see Auburns still top 10 on ken pom after back to back losses. Most people have us as a 3 seed right now, we might move up to a 2 if we keep winning or down to a 4 or 5 if we lose like half the rest of our remaining games.

Auburn fell to 16? That’s probably about right tho, they are good

Haven’t been shooting it well. I don’t think many in the top 25 would beat them regularly. Us either.

Yeah in the AP poll, but it has nothing to do with tournament seeding. They're 9th in the Net, we’re 7th.

I think we’re pretty much guaranteed a good a top 5 seed at this point unless the wheels completely fall off and we lose most of our remaining games.

I’d love the win the SEC though I think we have a good shot to.

We are a pain in the arse to play.

Agreed. Our last 10 games are pretty rough, especially the last 8. Winning tomorrow night would be big.

Hopefully it stays no worse than quad 2. Not sure why Holtmann is failing there.
I’m shocked they haven’t been able to sustain their 75% shooting on 2-point shots a foot inside the arc.

They tanked down the stretch last year too. He’s probably on the hot seat.

We’re for sure 1st place in the SEC now. Tennessee,SC,Auburn,Kentucky all have two conference losses.

What are reasonably expecting the conference winner’s record to be at this point? We have top teams dropping games they shouldn’t, but you can’t count on that regularly, right?

I haven’t looked at every team’s schedule, but the way things are going right now, I’m not sure any team makes it through the conference schedule with less than 4 losses. I don’t see any 16-2 or 15-3 teams right now. It’s going to be an interesting situation in February and I wouldn’t be surprised to see 4-5 teams in the mix.

That’s a good question and I have no idea. College basketball is on drugs this season.
