Play the link on .25 speed. Not only does it sound weird, but it makes things very, very clear that the Arkasas receiver was the one who pulled Key down aggressively by the facemark, but continued to hold on to it. Egregious missed call.

Officials were just happy to call something. Their helmets were stuck together.

No they weren’t. The arky player pulled key down by his face mask and then continued to hold on to it. It is plain on slow speed.

you are correct, the arky player grabs keys facemask and drags him to the ground by it. key never even touches the guys facemask

we just have to play smartly on third down. teams know refs are itching to call flag on bama so they are provoking

My fear is Bama gets stuck with the exact same officiating crew as last year's Tennessee game, which was HORRENDOUS. Maybe the worst job officiating I've ever seen.
I know CNS can't say anything publicly about the refs and their God awful calls but I have to wonder if he doesn't raise holy hell with the SEC behind closed doors about them?

I imagine that he probably works the head of officiating just like he does sideline officials.
He has enough garbage calls in evidence to begin asking for some review of things.

I agree with you. Unfortunately, the SEC office seems to regard that as their best crew. They always put them on the game of the week now. I don't get it, because they have been called out by the conference multiple times for blowing calls yet they keep getting put on the biggest games. The first game I remember them doing was Arkansas at Auburn in 2020, when they inexplicably robbed Arkansas of what should have been a game-winning fumble at the very end.
