The Oklahoma-Texas “Red River Rivalry” topped the week six charts with its largest audience since 2009 as more than 7.8 million viewers tuned in across ABC and ESPN2. Alabama’s dramatic win over Texas A&M placed second with over seven million on CBS.

You mean to tell me that a top 12 match-up in the RRSO barely beat out Bama vs an unranked AM? Pathetic

Edit: I set a trap for OU fans and get two goombah Gumps and one OU alter.

impressive that Bama vs an unranked team was so close to #1.

Bama/A&M was the only game to watch in the 2:30 slot. The 11 am slot had a few good ones.

That game had a lot of national intrigue.

- Was Bama really gonna lose again so fast
- Was aTm going to get over the hump
- Both teams with 1 loss coming in
- Prime TV slot
- Commish attending
- Carries over from RRS game
- Curiosity since tx beat Bama and OU beat tx right before game

Are you a fricking retard ….
What’s pathetic is your jealousy for us having the second best ratings draw since 2010 …. We competed with two other big time games at the same time. Bama A@M game was the only game worth a shite on at the time ….

There’s no way Ole Miss / Arky had less than 16K viewers.

Just to show the ineptness of the Pac 12 Colorado the biggest draw in college football was in a shootout and no one could watch it. That game likely would have had top 5 numbers.

I'd love to see the Ole Miss/Arkansas ratings.

SEC Network isn't Nielsen rated.

whats with non SEC schools touting TV viewership as some kind of trophy? I guess since the SEC wins where it matters, its all you guys have left. You and the buckeye fella should party

Bigger question is why the Georgia - Kentucky game draw better numbers. Both teams were undefeated and ranked in the Top 20.
