Dude was a baller at Oklahoma State...he has no more eligibility after this season. Why in the world would he transfer to Ole Miss to fight it out with Dart, whom he had to know had the upper hand to win the starting job? He has no big NIL deal. It makes no sense...did Kiffin make promises he couldn't keep? Something is off.

Word in Stillwater is that he made a lot of NIL demands and then went into the portal and didn't get what he wanted. He tried to stay at OSU but got a "no thanks".

If he still wants one last chance, he might could check into the NAIA level. They're not bound by NCAA rules obviously. I bet a $100 he gets a 7th year.

I'd recommend Cumberland University in Lebanon, TN, Campbellsville in Kentucky, Central Methodist in Missouri, Faulkner in Montgomery, etc., ect, some good schools for a masters degree

Dart after how last season ended definitely didn’t have the upper hand. But he busted his arse and made some huge strides in the off-season. So much so that it was pretty much decided week 1 of training camp he was the starter

He was fine at Oklahoma State, but he was pretty erratic.

Passer Rating Ranks
2022 - #84
2021 - #76
2020 - #35
2019 - #37

As for why he chose Ole Miss, that is a good question. Unless he didn't have any other major P5 offers out of the portal, got a decent bag and thought he could find a role there.

Seems like Auburn would have been a perfect fit, but no clue if there were even discussion there.

Dart could easily go down at any point and he's talented enough that we could still run our offense.

He got a nice NIL package.

I also heard he wants to go into coaching. Being under LK for a year probably not a bad choice as far as play calling goes.

But Dart was very limited Saturday and they still didn't let him even get a snap. Very telling.

Excellent advice my friend. He might also check into one of Georgia's toughest annual opponents, The Dahlonega State Demons.

Apparently not. You had 20 portal transfers this year alone.

Not really. It was a close SEC game and this wasn’t exactly like an Eli backing up Romaro Miller situation.(still love you Ro).

If Darts injury was potentially serious or we were playing a bullshite team, you would have seen Sanders come in.

I've had this same question. Kiffin knew Sanders likely wouldn't beat out Dart but signed (and paid?) him anyway. It just doesn't make sense on Kiffin's or Sanders' part. It would be interesting to know his NIL deal, I can't imagine anyone signing off on too big a deal, as he was coming to be a back up.

At one time, I read some barn fans post that his transcript was so "spotty" that he didn't have a lot of schools that would accept most of his credits. No idea if any of that is true, but in MS a fence post could gain college admission.
