As the old SEC powers fade into the abyss, the vacuum will be filled by the new traditional powers
This isn't about adding tv viewership in Kansas City, St. Louis or Houston as was the case with Aggie and Misery
Little Nicky is done. Georgia is struggling with bottomfeeders. LSU was a one-hit wonder. Florida isn't even a top 5 team in their own state.

Calling LSU a one-hit wonder is a stretch. They’ve been up and down yet still have a lot more hardware than OU and Texas do since 2000 and 2005.
Georgia has won back-to-back national titles and is still #1, whether struggling or not.
OU and Texas haven’t proved anything. Texas beat Bama? That’s great. But so has Aggie in previous regular seasons.

2009 is the last time Texas won aa conference championship. That's a long time. Believe me, I know.

Well, this Longhorn is excited that Texas is joining such an exciting and top tier conference. While I hope we'll be competitive, I know victories and respect must be earned in this league. Not sure why the OP is being such a dork.
