Mizzou fans - what should we do in Columbia?

I couldn’t post on the Mizzou board here, but I’m heading over for the game this weekend with some friends. First time there, so I’m really looking forward to checking out the town, stadium, etc.
Are there any restaurants/bars (we’re around 40, not college aged) you’d recommend? Tailgating areas? Things to see/experience on campus before/after the game?
Hopefully our defense will make a tackle or two so the game is competitive.

Losing the game would be nice if I were a Missouri fan

The only reason there's less meth in Arkansas is because they can't afford it. And nobody's gonna trade meth for sex w/ a hawg.

Ok, so since no one will answer you question seriously, I will:
Good places to eat include G&D Pizza on Stadium and Broadway. Shakespears Pizza near campus, Booches Burgers downtown.
As far as what to do, in Columbia, no much, but the state capitol is in Jefferson City, Churchill Memorial in in Fulton (it includes a piece of the Berlin Wall), Ilse of Capri Casino in in Boonville, and Lake of the Ozarks is just a little further south.
Have fun, and as far as these arakansas people on here goes, please understand we own their arse in football and it is somewhat difficult for them to accept.

Booches is a must.
Shakespeare's pizza
Harpo's
Are all CoMo staples.
Then there are the nicer newer establishments.
Sycamore
D Rowe's
CC's City Broiler is good but a little pricey.
The campus is beautiful this time of year and is definitely one of the underrated ones.

Fair warning. This is diner/dive food. I like it. But it’s a Greek family diner, not high class dining.
Other local food options: D. Rowe’s - get the smoked wings. Murray’s - get the fried green peppers with powdered sugar. Flyover - a little nicer Midwestern dining experience with small plates.
Take a quick hike through Rock Bridge state park and see “the Devil’s Ice Box.”
Maybe there will be a petting zoo at the stadium again.

Poop swastikas seems to be what they are known for. So maybe draw a few then hang in one of their safe spaces???

Booches is cash only btw. Logboat is a fantastic brewery a bit north of downtown. ITAP is a cool but small bar with 50+ beers on tap to catch some of the afternoon or night games. Tropical Liquers (Trops) has strong frozen drinks that are pretty damn good and popular - people get them to go and just walk around with them. Harpo's is the most well known bar in town - it'll be packed at night, the Mizzou marching band regularly makes appearances Friday nights and plays a few songs

It's never been a safe space for your football team considering its had 0 wins there in the entire history of college football

Have a beer at the Heidelberg and then walk onto the campus. The columns and Jessie Hall make the quad a very cool spot.

Buds Classic BBQ on the north edge of the Campus is damn good. Ozark Mountian biscuit for breakfast and an excellent Bar. Logboat Brewing and Burr Oak for local beers. Arris Pizza is better than Shakespeare, but does not have the Student ambiance.
Devils Icebox and the Churchill memorial in Fulton for local sights. And walk the campus, its beautiful this time of year. A branch of the Katy Trail also terminates at the Campus.
Like whiskey? Run East on 70 for 45 minutes and find Wood Hat Distilling in New Florence. Great stuff, my wife loves the Persimmon Cordial,

The tailgating is the best in a 20 mile radius.

Whiskey or beer?
6 Mile Ordinary and Logboat in the Arcade district are an easy walk
from downtown.
The food is great at the Biscuit, they always have live
music. Witches & Wizards Arcade is old school fun.
