Agreed. He was definitely bracketed mostly in the 1st half but idk what happened in the 4th quarter. Most of the time when he caught it in the 4th they seemed to exploit the zone or man to man on a backer.

Motherfricker was wide open on every catch except the 2 one handlers. Our DBs / lbs were lost trying to cover their formations. Hats off to BoBo

He needs to stay off social media. His third down defense today was horrendous. Only rushing 4, far less talented DL and getting no pressure and giving a 10 yard cushion to receivers on 3rd and long is insane.

He was bracketed on the 3rd and 12 and the TD play.
Kaufman has inside coverage on both. Wooden was looking outside instead of inside where Bowers was. He’s supposed to jump that route.
The TD again bracket coverage with Kaufman but Puckett got to deep in his drop. Then missed a tackle.
Bowers is just that dude. Like saying a safety should stop Cam Newton on 3rd and 1 in the hole in 2010. Almost impossible to do

Not having Scott not on the field is killing us on inside throws. Throws between the hashes.
Not having Simp out there late also opened up the run after catch he has the speed to get to folks. I’m a huge proponent of 4 CBs. 3 long lengthy guys that can play press and zone. A thicker guy that can play the star position and be solid in coverage. And 1 elite safety that understands how everything works with enough speed to cover mistakes. Doesn’t even have to be a hard hitting tackler if the star can do that.
