I agree with you. Game was great short of our shitty offense and loss.
It really didnt feel like it was shitty on offense either. More like they couldnt stop shooting themselves i the foot and stall out.

Didnt really have many penalties. No false starts. That felt good.

And boys, WE GOT A KICKER!! Alex McPherson, I like this kid. He is money

Is this supposed to shock us? Usual reaction when losing a game you had chances to steal away

Come on Chiz and let's reboot that memory. You think Haskins and Co. gave a shite either way? Well?

Bowers is just that dude.
Fact. Should have had someone pressing him off the line of scrimmage. Move him off his route early and stay in his back pocket. We were giving him 5 yards before ever picking him up. Felt like he was running wide open every single play.

That just is not true.

UGA has 11 OL rated higher than our highest rated OL.
The only place we have talent comparable to top-tier teams is RB and defensive secondary.
We played a near perfect game yesterday penalty, turnover, and mistake wise, and had chances to steal a win. We just don't have the talent to consistently make crucial plays when they are needed...

yet.

Hats off to the whole team though. They left everything they had on the field. Nothing to be ashamed of.

Defense played well enough to win. People bitching about this really need to take a look at our QBs’ stat line and STFU.

I'm not being critical of our players because they did about all they were capable of doing. That said, they gave up 27 points and couldn't get off the field or maintain momentum anytime we had it. UGA's scoring drives were 11, 10, 10, 7, and 7 plays. Including 2 70+ yard drives and a 98 yard drive. If you said before the game we were giving up 27 everybody would have said that gave us pretty much 0% chance of winning.

The one thing they did well was create two turnovers.

You were right, banging the drum for years about the talent gap that has only grown. We had very few penalties andI think the players were near their best ---- the issue is the other team was just much more talented.

I was not a fan of the Freeze hire, but I hope, at the least, he works to close that gap some because we were definitely trending the wrong way with Harsin.

I wanted to see our team come out and punch Georgia in the mouth. They did, but the truth is we just weren't talented enough to finish the job.

All I want this season is to see gameplay improve with the talent we have atm and improving that future talent. Playing Georgia was no easy task but I will not panic as long as I see this team keep trying to get to the wins and get better.
