How confident are SC fans feeling about this weekend?

Rattler will probably pick on Hadden all game. Not sure if Milton has what it takes to keep up in a shootout or not. Our running game and run blocking will be very important this game.
Need to keep Rattler off the field as much as possible and be in his face the entire game. Conservative play calling by Banks won't cut it this game.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Vandy get a victory over Mizzou.

Doubtful. I know Mizzou is missing some important pieces but Vandy is really bad.

We have a top10 passing game. And a bottom 130th defense. I have no idea what will happen

South Carolina fans are never confident
. We're a team that can lose to anyone but can also step up and pull some pretty crazy upsets. Neyland at night will be a tough environment for sure. Rattler has to continue to play extremely well, we need a semi-decent running game, and our defense has to play MUCH better than they did last week. I'm not expecting win, just hoping we play competitive game and don't have a Florida debacle like we did last year.

I think it's likely to be a shootout.
SC's secondary is banged up, and State found a lot of softness, and exploited it. Can Milton be as accurate as Rogers was?
Utk has rushed very well this year. SC's run defense is starting to improve, but it's not as strong as it needs to be. UTK can likely grind out yardage there.
Conversely, how us UTK's secondary? XL is in a class by himself right now, and if he sniffs open space, he's gone. Ahmarean Brown is back to help with speed on the outside, and Eddie Lewis and O'Mega Blake have both looked good. TE Knox is a headscratcher, in that while he gets open, he's guaranteed to drop a pass that Rattler puts in his hands.
Running game showed signs of life on Saturday. Mario Anderson is SC's best tailback. How is UTK's linebacker corps? SC's offensive line is largely young, but they really gelled (as has the DL, for that matter) the last few weeks.
I think it's an evenly matched game. Playing at Neyland is absolutely an advantage (just like playing at W-B was for us last year). I could see a shootout, for sure. I'd venture to guess it'll be a nailbiter into the 4th.

Neyland is a house of horrors for us historically. I have no confidence about our ability to win and think this will be a blowout win by the Vols.

How's Tennessee's locker room this year?

Our secondary is pretty bad overall it seems. Rattler will go after Hadden early and often imo. He's good for allowing at least one or two big TD plays a game it seems.

Not confident. Rattler will have to do everything, apparently, and if Milton gets hot it won't be enough.
But that's why they play the game.

I have USCe winning this one straight up
Rattler goes off on that secondary

If it wasn't at night time in Neyland i would be very worried. Hadden will be a huge liability this game though.

SC fans are pretty good people
I just don’t won’t us getting blown out this year. I don’t have any rivalry hate towards USCeast .
To be honest last year they had the hottest cheerleaders in the SEC.
That’s probably what distracted our guys last year lol

I fully expect my Gamecocks to shite the bed Saturday

The SC message boards that i frequent all seem to feel this way as well. Probably because of the Miss State game.
I don't think it's going to be so easy though just because both of our strengths and weaknesses seem to match up pretty evenly.
SC has definitely played the tougher schedule so far.
