If he came back to the SEC and left penn state would he be a sure success?

No. Even coaching SEC previously, he’d have no idea what he’d be in for and wouldn’t be prepared for the weekly grind that is the SECSECSEC.

You mean like Vanderbilt?

He turned the literal worst program in the SEC to an 8/9 win team and tough game for everybody. Hasn't been that long, I'm sure he'd be fine

Did you just start watching SEC football in the past 5 years or so?
He made Vanderbilt into a tough out like what Stopps has done at Kentucky but even more so.
He should be a prime candidate that Bama looks at if they let go of Saban imo.

Literally the only coach in the last 50 years that made Vandy a tough game on the schedule every year
I think he would do fine at a school like Florida or South Carolina

he left vandy because of his players being rapists.... so he went to a school known for child rape... i really don't want to even guess where he goes next. coaching soccer for the al qaeda??

No
At Penn State he has 1 - 3 tough games a year on a schedule that gives him an outside shot at a CFP spot.
In the SEC, the annual schedule is a bit tougher.

He’s better than Stoops Pittman and Beamer

Absolutely....way better.

Given where Vandy was (& now is again) & the zero resources he was given, what he did there has to be one of the most underrated jobs in modern CFB.

He’s a Div II East Stroudsberg player with a “Penn State heart.” Top 10 cringe comment of all time.

He is better than your guy as well.
