Right now I think Washington deserves to be #1.

Winner of Washington and Oregon should be top seed for sure.

I stand corrected on my take from yesterday.

UW is easily the best team in the PAC, by far

They have a stretch of USC, Utah, and Oregon St in November as well as apple cup. Should be a fun month. They are legit though and Penix is amazing QB.

Pac12 is a Gauntlet right now. You legit can argue they have the 3 top Heisman candidates. No one is even talking about Utah…once they get Rising back, they’re going to be even tougher. What a complete joke what’s happened to the conference getting torn apart for money.

Yep. Even Oregon State and Wazzou are good teams too.

Washington is playing like the #1 team but I have UGA as the top spot because of their schedule and shouldn’t lose going into Atlanta. Washington still has a lot to do.

For sure. They're the most dominant team through the first 1/3 of the season. Good on them. Seeing them in the mix is cool.

To hell with the future schedules. The polls represent, or at least should, a consensus of which teams are the best TODAY.

If the AP writers had any balls, the pick would be Washington.

So why should Texas be top 5?
