The same MTSU we dominated barely lost to Missouri. Missouri struggled and should have lost that one.

That same Missouri gave Kansas State everything and stole the game late.

What does this mean?

We have talent and we're definitely not as bad as what many here are trying to say we are.

Our defense is good and with time cab be GREAT.

Our issues are mainly offense. The playcalling, offensive line and QB.

We can literally solve every single one of these problems if we drop and adjust on the offensive line and get our OC to actually play to our QB (should be Milroe if we're honest, go ahead and downvote) strengths.

I don’t think our team has the fire or discipline needed to be a playoff caliber team. Unfortunately, that kind of issue cannot just be solved in a few days or by making a few changes.

I like the positivity, and at this point our guys, mainly the oline, are going to have to choose to either pout about the negativity coming in from the outside or sack up and dig deep and get better and prove the haters wrong.

I'm not sure why people acting like someone thinking that Milroe is the best option after what we saw on Saturday is so inflammatory. It's not exactly a hot take.

This looks like you dug up an old post from TideSports from 2006 and reposted it here.

I agree, it should be Milroe, and this team can make a run if Rees does call plays to his strengths AND help out his o-line. Use the TE to help the LT, or heaven forbid calling a draw to keep the speed rush off the edge honest.

Fortunately, the same can be said about the majority of teams right now. Even UGA has not demonstrated they do either.

Saban confirmed it less than 20 minutes after I made this post.

It's obvious right now we need to go with Milroe and cater our offense to his abilities. At least he can throw a good deep ball so if our OC is smart teams won't be able to just load the box.

Our most important issues are the fix we do on the offensive line and our OC actually doing his job.

Honestly it's depressing that we as fans can call for a rollout or even a draw play as you have... but our OC who is getting paid a king's ransom can't, doesn't have consistency or even know how to build a plan to exploit a weakness later in the game.

Yeah he is serious.

We have a good defense that will be great. We have great WRs, TEs and RBs.

What we lack is an OC who can call plays to use our QB skills (QB runs 4.4 and can throw deep) and an OL that can actually protect him.

We get those two straight and we run through this weak SEC.

When we do many here will pretend they saw it the whole time.

I was screaming to run one the entire game against Tx. We ran 1 that was purely by design early in the third and it was beautiful. Then tried another in an obvious draw situation that got destroyed.

We can’t move the chains consistently and we turn the ball over a ton against good defenses

We’re not making a run with that issue

100% correct. We are a playoff team if these changes are made.

Don't hold your breath waiting for that to happen. Rees is literally Shula.
