I guess Simpson? Shocked Milroe didn’t get a single snap. We are a cluster. Wow.

Doesn't matter if they don't work things out

Simpson probably

Milroe against this defensive gameplan would've been a nightmare

Doesn't really matter. Offensive line won't magically learn how to play

Simpson starts. If the offense looks stale Milroe will come in.

Not sure I’d read too much into this. It was also surprising to see Milroe the whole game against TU.

Saban has never had a quick trigger. While many criticize him for that and it can bite him, see 2017 Jalen over Tua, it also can help the players.

While we may want quick changes, you also don’t want a Spurrier or Brian Kelly situation where no one plays well because they all think they’ll be benched after one mistake.

Milroe. Nobody moves the ball as well as he does. To say Simpson is just being blind and stubborn

It seemed like every time Saban was close to pulling him, he made a big play.

Simpson.

But whoever it is, we have to have an offensive line that can give them some sort of protection.

Not trying to be that guy but I predicted this would be the case with open QB tryouts into the season …. Totally inexcusable. Especially for a Top 2 all time coach. Unreal! I’m ready for Kiffin.

I go in with Simpson as the starter, but give Milroe a package to run on a couple of predetermined series. At least keep Ole Miss guessing a little bit.

Buchner is done. Didn't even look functional.

The OL is obviously a huge issue...moreso than QB.

To say anyone should definitively play over the others is being stubborn. They’ve all looked bad.

I think playing either Milroe or Simpson next week is defensible.

Simpson’s got the best arm, best accuracy, and decent athleticism. That said, he’s clearly not comfortable in the offense and is too scared of making a mistake.

Milroe’s got the best athleticism and a solid deep ball. On the other hand, he can’t go through progressions, and he’s not scared enough of making mistakes.

I doubt Simpson will win us a game at the moment, but I doubt he’ll lose us any either. Milroe at his best could win us a game, but he’s already lost us one game with his high school level turnovers.

I think Milroe will be back in at some point next week. I think this was a test for both other QBs, and Buchner scored an F while Simpson scored a D+ imo. The O line is just too terrible for a fresh QB to develop without having some sort of natural athleticism like Milroe.

He looked great on the quick throws, but how many of those were even called? Every pass seemed like a deep shot. Every college offense I've watched today has made those sort of plays look routine, but they don't even seem to be in the Bama playbook most of the time. Didn't do a new QB with no protection any favors at all.

Simpson. And run the ball 50 times in goalline. Kill the clock a win is a win.
