Is a QB with more INT than TD really the answer?!

I know some of y'all really hate milroe, but is Buchner really the answer? He's got 6 TD and 8 INT in his career. If that's truly the best we have... can we win the sec with that? Where is Ty Simpson?

You should call Saban and explain to him that he apparently doesn’t know what he’s doing.

I'm just asking the question. If he would take my call, I'd ask his thoughts on it. I don't see anything wrong with that.

At least a couple of those INTs were from tipped passes.

Just from the eye test of the scrimmage and several practices I attended he was better than Milroe and simpson. He may implode but that’s what I’ve seen.

He may not be the answer but neither was Milroe.

He better be the answer or somehow Simpson is, because if not this season is gonna suck.

I don't think anyone here "hates" Milroe. A lot of us (myself included) don't think he's the answer. With Milroe, Texas exposed him as not being a threat passing. If Bama kept him as the starter, I can assure you every opponent here on out would load 8-9 guys in the box and double dog dare him to try passing the ball.

No opposing team is afraid of Milroe passing the ball, especially in the short and intermediate routes. Keeping Milroe as the starter pretty much guarantees Bama loses probably 3-5 more games.

Buchner has a bit more game experience, and while he doesn't have the cannon of an arm Milroe has, he's pretty accurate in the short and intermediate passes and CAN throw the deep ball. While not as fast as Milroe, the dude can run well.

Moreover, at least two of his INTs last year were tipped balls by his receivers that should have been caught.

Can't let this slide...no one hates Milroe. I don't think he's the answer at QB but hope he finds a position and success ..or he proves me wrong. That would be great also. But after 14..15 quarters at QB, he is throwing the same int as that AustinPeay game. And should have 4-5 more INTs

Former 5* that was a more natural passer than the other two. That's why I thought he'd be the guy this year. But, he's obviously not better than the other guys, at this point anyway. Maybe just not a good leader, or he gets rattled, I don't know.

Must be good high school film. Every scrimmage he looks awful imo.

Be shocked if he takes any meaningful snaps this year. Longeran should be the next man up after Buchner, but since he is a true freshman not sure they want to burn the RS

I don’t know about Cult following but in the limited time we’ve been able to see him, he looks like he has a ton of potential. It looked like he just needed more experience. I’m obviously wrong because he’s not getting much of a chance but I don’t know why I’m wrong.

You have to hope that a lot of this was caused by Notre Dame’s lack of weapons a year ago. Marshall was able to man up ND’s wideouts last year, so they didn’t have much skill outside.

I know Simpson was the best high school prospect of the bunch, and I think he looked the best in A Day. He must not practice well.

Not in a normal SEC year, but this year, maybe we can. We can at least win the West with just solid QB play. This looks like the worst SEC West in years.

I never understood this scenario. I mean if the kid is your best option, play him! If Sayin comes in next year and takes over, what good is that doing Long-range other than giving him an extra year at another school after he hits the portal.
