Dawgnation

quote:

A player can be placed on the NFI for the following reasons:

A player suffering an injury away from the team’s practice facility. It could be during personal training, a recreational activity or a vehicle/home incident.
A long-term illness outside of football.
An injury that occurred during a college season which prevents a player from practicing at the start of his rookie season.

None of those seem "bigger than football" to me. Hope he didn't go full Cali. But really, hope things improve for hime.

As Brooks Austin said, he won't jump on the speculation bandwagon like so many idiots are.

Well, the coach said it’s not injury related and that whatever it is, it’s bigger than worrying about who’s in the QB room right now…he’s on the list for minimum 4 weeks and coach says he won’t be discussing the topic any more. Doesn’t sound like a sick relative to me.

This Brooks Austin take is the best take.

This thread is stupid and presuming anything is stupid. He is the single greatest, most accomplished QB in UGA history and y’all continuously try to tear him down.

Question from a non-NFL follower: Would a failed drug test result in this, or would that be a league violation with a suspension, ie different wording?

This is the “people in X group are incapable of being shite birds as human beings because of Y thing about them” argument.

Two things can be true at once. We can all love Stet for what he did for the university and all of us fans. At the same time, it’s entirely possible that he has personal issues non of us condone.

Those are typically announced as suspensions and in a different category. This designation is typically for players hurt in like a traffic accident, going to drug rehab, lost a very close relative or a very sick spouse/child, etc.

Even in the case of injuries that put a player on this list, will typically be divulged.

Considering the coaches words, This is likely something with Stetson and/or very close relative
