Go as in benched or go as in portal out.

If he continues to play there needs to be plays for his run option and designed runs. He cant look off his number one receiver and he has been in the program long enough to develop this.

That's Milroe's choice. But he would no longer be my starter.

Who would you have start? We don’t have a Bryce or Tua on the bench. Apparently Buchner and Ty are turnover machines in practice.

I think we’re just going to have mediocre QB play all year and end up 9-3, it is what it is

The problems in the trenches are even worse. Those were supposed to be strengths and they’ve been awful.

Apparently? So you're making up shite.

I know which QB is a turnover machine in the game. Milroe.

Literally anyone else.

Id rather start someone from intramural leagues.

The thought of Milroe playing QB makes me want to projectile vomit

Milroe wears Crimson and White, and is apart of the Bama family. He has put in a lot of blood, sweat, and tears for the team. Sure, everyone is down on him, but he is apart of this team, and I don't wish him to go anywhere unless he wants to. Do I think that he gives us the best chance to win? No. But I don't believe in throwing our players under the bus.

eta: are you saying you want him out the door? Or just out of the starting QB spot?

Go ahead and get some liquor ready for when Milroe trots out there as the starter against USF

What I want to see happen would actually help Milroe. Milroe isn't above the other guys on the team. Those other guys shouldn't have to suffer because Milroe is deficient. Those other guys work hard too.

And to be completely transparent for all the newer people around here, OP is the same one that said Bryce sucks and has a noodle arm last year.

Think we can all agree JM ain’t the guy but I don’t think we have “the guy” on the roster until Julian shows up next spring/fall.

Is what it is

I said that about Bryce. I also said Van Dyke was a stud QB. Your point? Milroe is not a Power 5 QB. But to think the other QBs on the roster are worse than Milroe is pure bullshite!

The teams Alabama beats with Milroe at quarterback they could beat with anybody playing quarterback. This was apparent watching his play last year. I really question Saban on not seeing that. The two interceptions he threw Saturday night were real bad. He must not be able to see the field to throw those awful interceptions. He did need more time as the line got whipped.

Bama is stacked. They don't need a superstar QB to win. They do need a QB who can do the basics like read a damn defense. Or, not run into the arms of defenders. Or, not stare WRs down and throw into double coverage.

I guess we'll see who got the reps with ones in today's practice.

Assuming, of course, someone leaks it.

Yep. I'd bet money that Milroe starts against USF and plays well. The other 2 will get some good playing time.

This won't be determined until the Ole Miss game, IMHO.

I like the sentiment, but it's an anachronism in the NIL and transfer free agency era.

1000 %.

Loyalty to any program has given way to NIL, and getting paid.

To believe anything else in this CFB climate, is dreaming.

That might be the case honestly. We’ve seen this before.

You are probably right, but it saddens me.

It doesn’t help when they bring 6 or 7 and the QB holds onto the ball. The Oline does need to play better but a QB that can take advantage of the blitz would help a lot.
