The receivers looked better. I think the oline is better. The defense played really well up until they wore down at the end. Milroe gave Texas 10 points.
This team with a competent QB - like basic competence - is a national title contender.

No pass rush, penalties, blown assignments/blown coverage, bad pass protection. In general the defense can’t get a stop in the most crucial moments.
Honestly, the team lacks general discipline and toughness.
They might be a bit better at receiver, and they can run the ball sometimes, but that’s about it.

Milroe was pressured on most of his throws. They are good at run blocking but they suck at pass blocking.

It took Texas 3 plays to regain the lead. Our D couldn’t stop them or get pressure on Ewers.
This loss isn’t just on Milroe. Our OL, D and both coordinators need to get better.

"the Oline is better..." Huh? Bama's Oline was horrible. They got raped all night long. If you think they have improved, you wasn't watching the same game the rest of the nation watched. It's very uncharacteristic of a Saban-coached team, who took great pride in having strong trenches, and maybe we need to give more credit to Texas' O and D lines but Bama just got mauled in the trenches in that game.
