We have a terrible offensive line.

We have a defensive line that can't pressure the QB.

That is why we lost.

When you throw in the fact our QB can't read and can't throw accurate inside 25 yards or consistently deep?

Then you know we're screwed.

QB missed an open wheel route to the RB... that is one of the easiest throws to make and he throws a fast ball down the sideline

Something to rival the target would be nice.... I mean, have you seen that intersection when it gets busy?

Lol. It’s been a couple of years since I’ve been to Tuscaloosa.

Offensive line looked fine until Texas realized they could put eight guys at the line of scrimmage.

This. I admit I couldn't see much from the stands but when it became apparent that we were not a passing threat, Tejas just sent the dogs on D and took their shots on O. Really good job by Sark.

Y’all must have watched a different game than I did. They never had to stack the box and sat in two high the entire game. They whipped our arse with 3-4 man pressures and an occasional LB.

Fair enough. I could tell one side of the line was ungood.
The lack of a passing threat always makes life easier for the D.

This isn't true. They basically were rushing 3 or 4 and dropping everyone else in coverage to confuse Milroe.

When you can consistently get to a running QB only bringing 3 or 4 players that offense is in serious trouble.

Yep.

They sent an exotic blitz sparingly and when they did they crushed us even faster.

I mean half the time they sent three and it took one second for them to get to Milroe.

On contrast....

We couldn't even get to their QB when we sent a blitz!

The great thing about this year's team is there's enough blame to go around! The only group that has been respectable this year are the WRs. I've been pleasantly surprised by them.

Our o-linemen are too tall. Shorter players get leverage on them easily.

That 3 man rush was ferocious...

When they don't have to maintain discipline and the line they are rushing is frustrated and/or confused. Yes. It can be ferocious.

This. The OP doesn’t understand football apparently.

When it became apparent that our QB sucked - stopping the run, spying the QB, and disguising coverages on the back end was all they had to do.

Nothing special for a major college football program with close-to-elite athletes.

The OP actually played the sport.

If you actually knew what you were talking about you would know dominating the trenches decides the game. The QB still sucked but they easily go pressure without bringing a blitz and that limits what a bad QB can do.
