Just a reminder that Colt never had surgery, never had extensive rehab, never stated exactly the nature of the injury I don’t think…he bruised his vagina because someone hit him hard and decided to quit.

Texas would’ve beaten alabama in 2009 with Colt healthy.

Maybe it’s just me, but the Aggie fans on this board seem more insecure today. Odd.

The point of the topic is not what if, but rather the fact that Texas has played quite well against the best program of all time.. and without those injuries, we might be undefeated against them.

Does that make us the best?
Nope. They are the best.

As pointed out above, the college game is funny that way, and I agree, it’s one of the things I love about college sports.

As an example, Kansas State used to own us, whether they had a good team or not.. just the way it goes sometimes.

Wut?

He probably thinks Vince’s knee was down..
which it was..
in the 1st half..
so instead of a touchdown, it should have been first and goal.. and somehow that changed the whole game..

Imo - He is also the worst poster on this board, so I’m not responding to him anymore.

Thank goodness I have premium and blocked him from seeing that..

1Big just wait. You think Bama fans are grandiose blowhards, Its going to get more sickening. I grew up in Texas and Hated the Longhorns even in the 69's. Austin was cool back then though.

There is some truth to this.. we definitely have a large amount of unbelievably rich alum’s who like to run their mouth and talk a big game no matter what.

Even someone like me, who is poor and living in the basement of my mom’s mobile home on government land, I talk a big game. Everything is bigger and better in Texas after all.

That being said, Texas has a good team, but they aren’t Georgia. I said the following last year and I still believe it to be true..

Texas would have given Georgia a better game in the NC.. than TCU, even though they beat us fair and square on the field.

To beat teams as loaded as Georgia or Alabama, you have to have the depth to absorb the blows and still be able to punch back. In theory, Texas may be closer to those two this year and start leaning on opponents in the 2nd half. I hope so at least..

TLDR: Yes, most Texas fans are arrogant assholes on the interwebs about anything and everything.. but in person, I think we’ll all get along pretty good. When all else fails, we can unite and make fun of the Aggies.

The only thing worse than Bama winning is Texas winning.

If that is true, that is only because of the alters running around the asylum. There aren’t that many actual Texas fans here.
