On their 3rd string qb FSU this year is far less of a turd than 2014 Ohio state
Ohio State’s third string QB dropped a 59-0 win over Wisconsin in the B1G title. If FSU’s QB does that, they’ll get in.
Does Colorado have staying power?

I don’t necessarily mean wins and losses, but when Deion leaves, will they continue to care about football? Surely they see that this football thing is generating tons of revenue and publicity.

Nashville White Sox. No way does declining Chicago keep them. Their current ballpark, especially the location makes it now the worst ballpark without resolution.
Arizona is pretty shitty. I went there for the WBC. Rain was coming through the retractable roof, which wasn’t working anyway. Scoreboards, concessions, etc…all outdated. It’s like they’re trying to let it get crappy.

How that team didn’t win it all is just beyond incredible.
There was some garbage officiating in both losses

It’s because she doesn’t have an ugly face.
re: Deion Sanders mocks concept of culture, says all you need are good players

You can win and hate each other in the pros. I believe the Big Red Machine in Cincy had some of that element. In college, you better have a good culture.
re: Update: Oregon & WA to the BIG. Utah, ASU, AZ apply to the Big 12. RIP Pac 12

SEC gonna be a 64 team conference when all is said and done. It’s gonna have some great rivalries.

So if you grew up and your dad raped girls in front of you, raping a girl would be okay?
I think it’s relating more to the fact that if you see something regularly defined as “ok” in your society, you are likely to repeat it.
Instead of raping girls, how about men that beat women. That’s a pattern of behavior that can trickle down.
re: Was David Wright’s 2006-2008 the best offensive three year stretch in MLB history?

One of the great “what ifs” of the post-2000’s. Dude just couldn’t stay healthy.
re: One of these pitchers was called for a balk...

Rogers lifted his leg, but from the back view it’s not apparent he motioned toward home plate. If that’s the case, correct call is no balk.
Stanek balked.
Stanek balked.
Anybody ever play the real Bushwood CC?
Posted by Andrew Topecchio on 7/18/23 at 12:26 pm
It’s called Grande Oaks GC and is in Broward County in Florida.
It’s always hard to tell how a course looks when it’s old footage from a tourney (or movie in this case). Anybody here had the pleasure of hacking around out there?

re: Most underrated games in LSU history

2007 @ Bama
LSU was up 17-3 early in the second, then down 27-17 in the third.
Javier Arenas punt return was as loud as I’ve heard a stadium. The strip sack on John Parker Wilson was an amazing way to get the W. It also featured some Les trickery, a big play replay, and Vern screwing up names over the air.
