And did not like what I saw. I was scared of a Bobby Petrino led offense and it looked legit. Receivers were smothered in coverage and the QB was still somehow sticking it in there, with great catches made by the WRs. It looked very much like a Bobby Petrino led offense not the typical bumbling offense Jimbo rolls out. Feels like we will have to outscore them to win

It was New Mexico.

Same team A&M smoked last year

Same team that everybody blew out last year.

Same thing to be said about Arkansas

It was Western Carolina

Take nothing from week one scrimages.

Arkansas VS LSU
A&M VS Auburn

those two games will tell us where everybody is at.

Petrino with top 10 talent is going to be lethal.

Pretty much what I’m getting at. They aren’t going undefeated. But we may have to outscore them to win. I have faith Enos can, but it will be a tight game

Best bet for us, if he’s successful this year, is that someone offers him a head coaching job.

If the experiment works this year he'll leverage it into contract power and potentially enough political power to see Jimbo gone since petrino was the missing piece

aTm and Auburn boosters are not that different. I don't think it's petrino worship so much as what he will try next. He's got nothing to lose fricking over Jimbo.

You know what I meant. Gonna have to score 35 plus to beat them. Because Petrinos offense will put up some points

I really doubt this. The college game is like the NFL now. It's professional sports and he didn't do well with the personalities there. Now you have to kiss a player's arse to make them stay and not transfer out in the middle of the season. He can get away with being an a-hole as a OC. But he'll have trouble with elite talent as a HC now.

Not sure why you’re getting downvoted, he nearly beat us last year with an FCS team.

It seems like most years A&M played down to us if they were looking stout. I can only think of one blowout loss when Manziel wasn't there.

I was at that game. Arkansas ran out of the tunnel unprepared and unmotivated.

Arkansas played like they just woke up from a hangover, while Missouri State was fired up especially on defense.

The same happened with the Liberty game and the environment and crowd noise was like attending a funeral service.

It was New Mexico but Weismann is legit.

Miami will let us know if our OL can protect weigman. Easy to look awesome when there’s no pressure

Not really. Bert and Chad led the games multiple times in the third quarter but collapsed in the fourth quarter.

If A&M was so talented, they would have won more games, win the West, make an SECCG appearance and win the SEC.

each year they are one of the most overrated football teams in the nation and the media gets a boner talking about them.

But since they are a Texas team, they have always historically get hyped up like the evil orange empire to no end. But piss the bed like Bobby Boucher.

They suffer from a severe insecurity complex unlike Texas who suffers from a huge egotistical complex.

Because as much as this place talks sh!t about Hogville, 75% of the posters here act the same way and drink the Hog Kool Aid nonstop. Say something even remotely positive about another team and how good they may be (like my OP) or negative about the Hogs (which I didn’t) and they get their panties in a twist.

Hell TAMU has beaten us 9/10 years. It’s not that far fetched to think Petrino may make them better.
