I remember there used to be a post game show broadcast every Sunday where the coach talked about the game and showed highlights. I couldn't find it today. Is that not a thing anymore?

I have it set to record in Fl.. I looked and didn't see it recording this week. Bally used to show it. I guess they stopped.

The Auburn Football Review has (had?) been a Sunday staple for over 50 years. Shame on someone if that is no longer a thing.

it had declined in quality over the years

the Dye era shows were fantastic, the whole format of the show was perfect:

-open with key play highlights with Fyffe’s radio call
-postgame lockerroom speech (preceeded by team singing “War Eagle” after wins)
-brief interviews with key players
-studio segment with Dye & Phil Snow, where Dye comments on the 1st half highlights
- halftime feature
- 2nd half highlights with Dye
- preview of next opponent

under Tubs they moved the studio segments to the stadium right after the game, and Rod replaced Phil, but the format remained

then Chiz came along and it turned into a boring replay with cheesy background music and minimal commentary, Gustav copied that IIRC

never watched it with Harsin

I remember the old Phil Snow days. They had a professional production and a studio.

I guess the Internet and social media has made it less necessary. Back then you needed that show, but now not so much.

Now you don't need the show at all. I'm surprised it lasted this long. Just because it has been around for 50 years doesn't mean it has any use today. YellaFella must be giving all his money to NIL.

Okay my TV Guide says that a program called Auburn Football Everyday is showing "New Programs' on Bally Sports every Thursday at 10:30 am CT. Show again this Friday at 2:30pm and next Friday at 2pm.

For what it is worth the description mentions Gus Malzahn.

It looks like it’s being replaced with Auburn Football Everyday.

Auburn Football Everyday each week, and the show will also be available on AuburnTigers.com.

Hopefully that will be uploaded to the Auburn Tigers YouTube Channel like the Review was before.

Yep, that is what I was thinking exactly. I remember a time when games were not on tv. You listened on the radio and then watched the coach's show on Sunday to see it with your own eyes.

In the 80s, my parents and I would spend almost every fall Sunday afternoon at my grandparents' house watching Dye's show. That all belongs to yesteryear.
